Ok, it's not technically summer yet, but if you live in the south it definitely feels like it, huh?
Pretty great, if you ask me!
So, last week I got the opportunity to spend the day down on St. Simon's Island, GA with none other than Hope and Kelsey!
Oh yeah, be jealous!
I had not seen them in way too long, so it was a day of catching up while Kelsey and the models photographed some AMAZING looks for
Y'all, the clothes are EXTRA awesome this season. And the models can seriously rock them.
It was great to watch Kelsey to their hair and makeup and make sure everyone was on point.
She is an artist. A pure artist.
So anyway, being down on that amazing island -- also known as my favorite place in the entire world-- really made me crave summer and sitting on the beach or by the pool in my brand new bathing suit sipping a cocktail.
They can make an ordinary day extra-ordinary.
And sometimes I think people don't realize how fun they can be and much better than just drinking a beer and calling it a day.
I admit, sometimes they take a little longer to make, but honestly, they are always worth it.
That being said, I wanted to share a few of my favorite summer/spring cocktails.
I mean, I am always looking for new recipes, so maybe these will help y'all!
Ok, this one is easy and OMG refreshing!
Make it for one, or make a pitcher for your friends!

Combine juice and vodka in shaker and shake or stir to combine.

Seriously, this cocktail is great for an outdoor dinner with friends!
Sparkling White Peach Sangria
This next one is a little more work, but IT IS SO GOOD!
I have a special place in my heart for sangria.
This was a recent Pinterest find of mine, who doesn't love Pinterest?
- 3 cups sliced peaches*
- 2 cups raspberries*
- 750 ml Pinot Grigio wine
- 1 cup simple syrup**
- 1 cup peach schnapps
- 1 bottle champagne
add fruit to a large pitcher
pour the wine, simple syrup and peach schnapps into the pitcher and stir
allow to sit for at least 1 hour or over night in the fridge
pour equal amounts of the wine mixture and champagne into a glass when ready to server
If you have never had a good sangria, I recommend trying this one!
This is perfect for the pool!
And please let us know if you have a signature cocktail!
We can never have too many recipes!
